Tell us a little about what you do?
We travel around the U.S. and
internationally using music as a vehicle to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to
encourage the body of Christ to have a deeper relationship with God.
That’s interesting; so what kind of
venues have you played in?
We've played in churches, college and
high school campuses, military bases, inner city ministries, prisons, coffee houses,
parks, etc.
What does your ministry look like and what
do you hope to accomplish when you minister?
We lead praise and worship for
churches, events and conferences. We do concerts for the encouragement of the body.
We do evangelistic concerts.
Our heart for ministry is that people
would know and love Jesus every day more than they did the day before.
We also teach a worship workshop to help better equip praise teams to lead worship at
their church.
Do you do this full time?
Music ministry is a full time adventure
for us. We're more like missionaries; We like to think of ourselves as
musicianaries. We operate under the name Together
Ministries, which is an outreach of Calvary Chapel,
Costa Mesa. In addition to our ministry together, Michael is a worship pastor at Calvary Chapel Hemet.
Do you charge a fee when you play
somewhere?
No. We hold fast to the
philosophy "Where God guides, He provides." Many churches do bless us with
some kind of love gift towards our ministry, but that is not a requirement for us to
minister there. We don't want to let finances be a hinderence to God's work.
Do you have any children?
We have 4 beautiful children. Our
daughter, Avalon, born 8-2-00, and our twin boys, Micah & Zachary, born 11-28-200, and
Jayden, born 7-25-2007.
Well, well, you certainly are busy?
That's an understatement, but we would have
it no other way. Our children are the best thing that have happened to us since
we've been married.
